LONG ODDS: Joseph Henry Sharp with the triplet calves in 1935
In the Westmorland Gazette of December 11, 2014, July 9, 2015 and July 16, 2015 there have been photographs of triplet calves so I thought you might be interested to see this photograph of my Grandfather Joseph Henry Sharp at Garnett House, Burneside.
The triplet shorthorn calves were born in 1935 after my father, Robert Henry Sharp, took over the farm.
Grandfather had retired to Burneside Road in Kendal, and he brought several people to see the bovine family.
