This migrant crisis is not the EU falling at the first hurdle - they have fallen at many hurdles. However the EU has always managed to paper over the cracks but when the bricks start falling out of the wall it becomes more difficult.

I looked over the precipice in the 1970s and didn't like what I saw, so voted 'No' to the Common market. Some closed their eyes and jumped only to find the landing was on broken glass.

Our industry base is in crisis because of the EU, not in spite of it. Also the EU Co2 emission rules are crippling our competitiveness.

Prime Minister David Cameron will win nothing of any substance from them. The only sensible option is for us to leave the EU as soon as possible to go back to being masters of our own destiny.

I really hope the migrant crisis will be the end of the EU experiment and a referendum will not be needed.

The EU is all the time involved in crisis management. There is the Portugal crisis, Euro crisis, Greek crisis, Irish crisis, Ukraine crisis, immigrant crisis, climate crisis etc - how many more?

The pro EU types have no faith that we are capable of running our own country again. I find that a gross insult to Britain as things were ten times better before we joined.
