Surely the most important issue on deciding which way to vote in June is sovereignty.

Any nation whose legislature and judiciary can be over-ruled by an outside agency and cannot control immigration is no longer a sovereign, independent country.

The economic arguments depend on who you want to believe. We must leave the EU. If we stay we shall be gently dragged into ever-increasing federalism or the EU will explode.

The economies of southern Europe have been devastated by Germany and eventually may completely collapse due to mass immigration and mass unemployment.

Three million immigrants arrived here between 2000 and 2010. Another 700,000 EU citizens, according to Government figures, have come in the last five years.

Britain, other than Malta, is the most densely populated country in Europe. The strains on roads, power supply, housing, education and the health service are enormous.

The plus side is that we done well as a nation to integrate these people without strife. Yes, immigrants and asylum seekers should always be welcome, but the British people and government must have the final say who is allowed to settle in Britain. Therefore, leave the European Union.
