On Saturday, May 28, we had a gentleman with his visibly heavily pregnant wife visit us at the Keys bar and restaurant at Slyne at Lancaster. During their meal her waters broke !
The staff were on red alert with towels and hot water at the ready but, thankfully, our midwifery skills were not required and the couple got to the hospital safely and just in time.
Her husband kindly rang us to tell us she had safely delivered a beautiful, healthy, baby girl.
Unfortunately no contact details were taken. We would like to congratulate the couple by giving them a complimentary meal for two and a bottle of fizz to celebrate the new arrival, If anyone knows who they were or if the couple read this, please would they contact Cameron Watson, The Keys, Main Road, Lancaster LA2 6AU, telephone 01524 823166.
