LETTER: Too many drivers don't know how to use roundabouts
In my opinion, far more dangerous than the situation mentioned by David Smith (Letters, July21, ‘Stop ignoring the road signs’) is the behaviour of motorists on their approach to roundabouts.
Many of them seem unaware or choose to ignore the significance of the line across their lane.
They do not even reduce speed, thereby creating a very dangerous situation for law-abiding drivers.
