LIKE most parents, I took my in-laws to see our children in their end of term play, a musical called Cinderella Rockerfella at St Mark’s School, Natland.
We were all completely blown away. Out of nowhere came unbridled talent - singing, comedy and truly hilarious character acting from the two ugly sisters. It was worthy of any West End play I had seen.
I felt so proud, not only as a parent, but for all the children, the staff and the school.
Above academic achievement it has given the children confidence and unbridled happiness and I feel quite privileged that my children have had this experience.
