The trustees of Lakeland Disability Support will be meeting on Thursday, April 20, to consider applications from physically disabled people in South Lakeland for financial grants to help improve their quality of life.
Any physically disabled person living in South Lakeland is invited to apply for a grant for equipment, services or respite care that will enhance their life, and which they or social services are unable to provide.
The trust does not provide primary support; that is the responsibility of the local authority.
Application forms may be obtained from Mrs Brenda Robinson, 46 Victoria Road North, Windermere LA23 2DS, to be returned, with supporting documents where possible and relevant, no later than April 6.
Brenda Robinson
Secretary, Lakeland Disability Support
