Letter: The election is not about local politics
Tim Farron may be "the best MP we've ever had" (Advertising Feature, Westmorland Gazette, June 1) but, on this occasion, he may not be "the best choice for our area".
This general election is surely about putting all our support behind the national political leader whom we believe will drive forward Brexit in the most positive way for all of us in Britain. It is not about local politics.
