Reader's letter
ONCE again, due to recent problems on the M6, heavy traffic has been diverted through Kendal in order to rejoin the motorway to the North. This reinforces the argument in favour of a northern relief road.
To those who say a new road would simply fill up with traffic, they are right it would, but there would be less heavy traffic and pollution in Kendal.
Lancaster has benefitted enormously from the new Heysham M6 link road.
