THE charity shop on Main Street at Sedbergh is a hidden gem. Staffed by the most helpful team of volunteers you will ever meet, an afternoon of browsing here will leave you wanted to come back time and time again.
Its a hub of conversation and laughter and offers the thrill of real bargains on objects you don't normally find in charity shops!
Their shelf of cut glass would not be 'out of place' at the Ritz and the bargain rail of clothes could fit out a King and Meghan Markle.
So- need a New Year pick up? Follow my advice and aim for Sedbergh's independent charity shop.
But please leave me some bargains!
