WHEN Danish-born Dorthe Pratt married a Dales farmer, she joked she wouldn't be getting her hands dirty as a farmer's wife.
And she has proved true to her word by launching her own venture, the Sedbergh Soap Company, making a range of natural soaps at the family farm.
With demand for her fragrant products rapidly growing, Dorthe is now well-placed to clean up with a farm diversification business with a difference.
Her soaps are made using pure essential oils - which give the fresh smell - and natural herbs and flowers grown on the farm, which create natural colouring.
