GET ready to rock on The Westmorland Gazette’s website as a top Kendal band showcase their talents.

The latest instalment of Daniel’s Den, the Gazette’s online music programme which features local musicians, is focusing on Decorate in Flames.

The five-piece, who say they want to bring back “the days of the solo, the riff, a meaningful bass line, huge drum beats,” are destined for big things.

They are featured on the video performing in their Kendal rehearsal space, and there’s also an in-depth interview where we discover the story so far, and find out where they’re going next.

And, while they specialise in plugging in their electric guitars and cranking up the volume to 11 – as witnessed in the cracking track Welcome In - they have more to their repertoire besides, and aren’t afraid to show a softer side.

Don’t miss the videocast which is available at thewestmorlandgazette. co.uk/news/videos.

You can also watch previous episodes of Daniel’s Den, featuring local artists such as Matt Taylor, Martin Marriott and Easy; Now, by using the search option in the video section.
