KENDAL Town have confirmed that seven first-team players have left the club following Lee Ashcroft's departure from the club.

Defenders Jack Duggan, and Danny Wisdom, strikers Alex Taylor, Joe Bunney, midfielders Kevin Leadbetter and Scott Harries and player/assistant manager Ian Kilford will all join Ashcroft at his new club Northwich Victoria.

Goalkeeping coach James Nichols will also join the Vics, who are eighth in the Evo-Stik Division One North.

A raft of reserve team players are expected to fill the void for this Saturday's Evo-Stik Premier League tie against Witton Albion at Parkside Road.
