KENDAL Town's match against FC United of Manchester at Gigg Lane has been abandoned due to a severe frost last night. A pitch inspection took place at 1.30pm and the referee decided the pitch was unfit for action tonight. The area close to the South Stand caused particular cause for concern as that section receives very little sun at this time of year. Kendal's next scheduled game is away to Stafford Rangers this Saturday.
