Kirkoswald third after beating Sedbergh

KIRKOSWALD moved up to third in the Westmorland Football League after beating Sedbergh Wanderers 3-2.

Only two games took place in the entire league, with Lunesdale United Reserves beating Ullswater United 6-0 in Division Four.

Meanwhile in the Westmorland Junior Cup Windermere SC prevailed with a 4-1 success over Braithwaite, while Coniston were 9-5 winners over Burneside Reserves in an exciting tie in the Peter Daws Memorial Shield for clubs in Divisio Three of the Westmorland League.
