Southport Seconds 2
Windermere 2
North West Division Three North
TABLE-toppers Windermere had another hiccup in their championship quest, having to recover from a two-goal deficit for a second successive draw.
The game began slowly but after a goalless first half Southport went ahead from a penalty corner and then got a second when one of their forwards got the better of goalkeeper Mark Nixon in a one-on-one.
Will Dolman pulled one goal back with a drag flick into the top right corner and then an own goal deflection off a defender levelled the score.
A missed back post chance almost gave Mere an unlikely late winner but in the end they were happy to settle for a point with a below par performance.
Keswick held Lancaster University to a 2-2 draw in a rearranged match on Sunday so Windermere still head the table, with a game in hand on the students.
Meanwhile South Lakes lost 4-3 at home to Mossley Hill in a result that takes them down to 10th in the table.

KENDAL were seeking revenge for a 3-1 defeat away at Rochdale in January and the hosts opened the scoring through Stanwith, who converted from a Galloway short corner strike.
The lead was short-lived as the visitors equalised with a breakaway goal two minutes later, and the Lancashire side took the lead 10 minutes later with a scrappy goalmouth scramble.
However the Greens were not deterred and a long aerial from Smith led to a Barclay shot which was saved and the rebound was fired home by winger Boyd.
After the break Rochdale took the lead with a two-on-one counterattack which left Chacko with no chance in the goal. This was soon cancelled out by Barclay and five minutes later he added his second with a powerful finish into the bottom right corner to make it 4-3 to Kendal.
The Cumbrians rode their luck in the final 10 minutes and following sustained pressure, the visitors equalised with a short corner.

Kendal 2
Division Four North
MID-table Kendal were on the road again to play 11th place Southport on Saturday and the visitors found themselves 2-0 down after 15 minutes due to two effective counter-attacks from the hosts.
The Greens pulled one back before the break with a short corner deflection from in-form Davis.
Kendal pressed hard in the second half for an equaliser, with Galloway hitting the post twice.
But Davis rescued a point with the last hit of the match after Galloway stretched to pull back the ball from the touchline for Davis to finish from the penalty spot.
