Kirkby Lonsdale senior colt receives North of England squad selection call-up
KIRKBY LONSDALE’S Brendan Cleary is celebrating his call-up to the North of England squad selection trials later this month at West Park, Leeds.
The 17-year-old senior colt first joined the Underley Park club at the age of four and has since played for all relevant age groups.
Through his mother’s nationality, Cleary – who captained Cumbria under-18s last year against Durham, Northumberland and Cheshire – has represented America under-16 at fly-half against England, Wales and Belgium.
