CUMBRIA Taekwondo saw two of its younger members promoted to 1st Dan black belt at the weekend.
Kendal-trained Sam Tattersall and Thomas Callan, aged 12 and 13 respectively, travelled to Doncaster to be examined by a panel of senior black belts.
Both players demonstrated skills in Poomsae, Kyorugi (sparring) and Hanbon Kyorugi (one step sparring) under the watchful eye of Cumbria Taekwondo President Grand Master Phil James.
