PGA Golf Professional Lee Edwards has joined the Carus Green Golf Club teaching team from Grange Park Golf Club in St. Helens.
After coaching golf at the highest level for the last eight years, Edwards arrives at Carus Green – which now has six PGA-qualified professionals – as a bespoke teaching pro.
He joins Andrew Pickering, Dave Turner, Chris Coates, Tyson Barclay and Andrew Waple in helping drive Carus Green on in very exciting times, particularly in terms of ongoing course development.
“Subject to planning permission, we are building an academy here at Carus Green,” said Golf Manager Andrew Pickering.
“It will have two teaching rooms, a simulation room, indoor putting green and an outdoor short game area.
“This, along with our team of PGA professionals which has a combined 70 years experience, will give us one of the best practice and teaching facilities in the North West”
