Kendal Town FC will be holding an open trials evening tonight at Kirkbie Kendal School from 7pm.

“Following on from a challenging but successful season, we are once again holding trials to seek out local, talented and committed footballers who will want to play for Kendal Town," said first team manager Dave Foster.

"We will be putting an excellent first team squad together looking for promotion and I am hoping this will include as many players from the South Lakeland area as possible.

"Having a competitive pool of players for me to call on who play the style of football I am developing will be a great asset and help us achieve our targets this season."

Club chairman Haydon Munslow added: “I am very keen we give every opportunity for local players to feature in our teams.

"We are a community based not for profit football club here for the benefit of South Lakeland.

"This is the opportunity for our home grown talent to come along and show the Manager what they can do.”

Trails will take place from at Kirkbie Kendal School on Tuesday 24th June from 7pm.

Players who are over 16 on September 01 2014 should register their interest by contacting manager Dave Foster on 07799 168457 or club secretary Craig Campbell on 07980 660428
