KENDAL racer Bradley Perie is back in the Thundersport GB Supertwin Championship hunt after recovering from a high-speed crash to win twice at Anglesey.

Earlier this year at Rockingham Perie crashed in a practice session causing extensive damage to his pelvis and femur which meant he had to sit out of the whole weekend’s racing.

With only four weeks to get himself fit and able to attend the next round in north Wales, the pressure was on.

With plenty of physiotherapy and a lot determination Perie was eventually given the green light and was all set for round seven of the championships.

The weekend didn't start in the best way when he had a 130mph crash which he managed to walk away relatively unscathed - but his Kawasaki 650 didn't fair so well and his team had a lot of work to do in a very short space of time to get the bike out on track .

After only missing one practice session Perie was back on track and repaid his team’s hard work with pole position in qualifying before winning two races.
