MAKING a rare competitive appearance after spending much of the year caddying for his son, Peter Chapman bagged the win at Windermere Golf Club's last major men's tournament of the year.
Chapman, whose son Adam has spent much of the season on European shores as a member of the England Elite Squad, fought off 66 competitors to win the Turkey Trot tournament on Sunday with 41 points.
Peter Haig finished second with 40 points and was closely followed by Phil Holbrook, Mark Jackson and Andrew Atkinson.
