A COURSE for anyone considering taking up umpiring or existing umpires wishing to refresh their knowledge is to be held at Warton Cricket Club in the New Year.
The Cricket Umpires Association is holding the Level 1 course on Sunday February 1 and 8 from 10am to 4.15pm.
Level 1 is the entry level and covers laws and techniques associated with one day cricket.
