HEATHWAITE United snatched a last minute equaliser to deny Wattsfield United the three points in the under 16 division of the Kent Valley Junior League.

Wattsfield had gone in front during the first half through a Thomas Graham header before the late leveller.

A draw for Wattsfield means that Kendal United Colts closed the gap on the league leaders to one point after a 2-1 win over Appleby thanks to an own goal and a Matthew Clarke effort.

The only other under 16 game saw Ibis Athletic draw 0-0 with Grange United.

In the under 15 league, Kendal United remain top and undefeated following a comfortable 12-1 win at Grange United. Mat Kennedy scored four while hat-tricks came from Brandon Colloby and Declan Wilkinson. Bailey Kenny also got his name on the scoresheet.

Heathwaite also picked up three points following a 3-2 home win over Milnthorpe United..

As for the under 14 Division, a James Bennett brace and strikes from Robbie Wallace, Toby Twiname, and Ben Fiddler helped Kendal United Rockets go joint top with Kirkby Lonsdale following a 5-2 win over Wattsfield.

The under 13 league saw Wattsfield and Swarthmoor remain unbeaten with Wattsfield and Swarthmoor both putting 11 past Heathwaite and Milnthorpe United respectively.

There were also wins for Ibis who won 11-1 at Appleby and Kendal United who won 7-0 at Ibis United.

In the under 12 league Milnthorpe put 13 past Grange while Josh Matthews bagged a treble as Wattsfield defeated Kendal United Colts 6-1.

In the under 11 division Ibis put 11 past Appleby in an 11-1 win while Kendal United won 10-1 at Milnthorpe to remain top.
