WINDERMERE Rotary ended the season on a high after the break Kentside Probus 10-8 to win the the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Salver as the South Lakes Curling League came to a close at Lockerbie Ice Rink.
Alan Kirkpatrick, the Ice Master at Lockerbie - the home of GB men's Winter Olympic 'skip' David Murdoch - to skipper, Rob McGraw and team members Mike Pollard, Mike Fletcher and Clive Langley.
Nomads finished on five points ahead of the Ice Cubes (4), West Callies (3) and The Farmers and Medics.
Curling is an excellent winter sport and can be enjoyed at any age or ability. The ice rink runs taster sessions with coaching.
