NETHERFIELD'S Second XI blew Blackpool away at Parkside Road, in a 10 wicket win.

The game was over by 3.30pm, as Netherfield put Blackpool in and bowled them out for just 41 in 19.4 overs.

Debutant Joe Portmann was in red hot form as he returned figures of 4-13. Scott Clement returning figures of 2-16, Matthew Clinton with 3-0. Marc Hadwin also getting a wicket with figures of 1-2.

In reply, Netherfield sauntered home in just eight overs with Craig Walmsley hitting an unbeaten 31 off just 27 balls.

However Kendal's Seconds slipped to a four wicket defeat at Blackpool.

Kendal were put in by the hosts were all out for 119 in 42.4 overs, Lewis Richardson the main contributor with 45 runs.

Blackpool's Steven Armstrong returnedfigures of 6-23.

In reply, the home clinched victory in 43.2 overs, as they closed on 120-6.
