NETHERFIELD Seconds continue to lead the way at the top of Northern League Division Two following a four wicket win at Fleetwood.

Fleetwood won the toss and opted to bat and were all out for 124 in 41.4 overs.

Matthew Clinton returned figures of 4-29 with Dylan Hoyle (2-23) also impressing while Stuart Nixon and Mike Curran also weighed in with one wicket apiece.

In reply, Netherfield knocked the runs off in 28.4 overs, Nathan Dixon producing a captain's innings as he top scored with 47. Liam Dugdale setting the chase up with 34.

Kendal's Seconds fell to defeat as they lost by 119 runs to St Annes.

St Annes set Kendal a chase of 206-8 with Nathan Armstrong top scoring with 88 while Matthew Taaffe scored 49.

Sam Dyson returned figures of 3-32.

Kendal were dismissed for 87 in 44 overs, Richard Thomas 4-23, Jake Higson 4-9 doing the damage for St Annes.
