WARTON A and Netherfield A continue to lead the way at the top of the South Westmorland Seniors Bowling League as they both enjoyed wins at the weekend.
Leaders Warton A won 6-2 at Springfield A while Netherfield cut the gap to five points after they won 7-1 at Kirkby Lonsdale A.
Levens, in third, lost ground on the top two after they suffered an 8-0 defeat at in-form Netherfield B.
Windermere A climbed out of the bottom three thanks to a good 6-2 win against Lower Holker A.
The three teams lower than Windermere, are Springfield A with 36 points, Kirkby Lonsdale A have 34 pts, and Hale have 33 points.
In Division Two, leaders Holme A have seen the lead cut to just three points after they suffered a 6-2 loss at Arnside A while second-placed Bolton le Sands won at Heversham A by the same scoreline.
Crosthwaite A also slipped to defeat, losing 5-3 at Ingleborough A.
Carnforth B are at the lower end of the division with 34 points and just above them is Heversham A with 41 points.
