Richard Edmondson looks ahead to the first fixtures in the Futsall League held at Kendal
The Futsal League returns on Monday night (January 18), as BAM FC begin the defence of their title when they face Dun Horse Academicals.
Following on from the success of the league, some new teams have also joined, with classic names such as Fiorentina Turner, Hunky FC and Murder on Zidanes Floor all taking part in this popular indoor sport.
The league, played inside the sports hall at Queen Katherine School in Kendal, is a fast- paced, small sided football activity. The league runs every Monday evening from 7pm–9pm, which allows players to get extra competitive football through a period of the season when pitches are waterlogged and not much traditional football is being played.
Fixtures, Monday, January 18:
BAM FC vs Dun Horse Academicals, 7pm
Battys All Stars vs Murder on Zidanes Floor, 7.30pm
Burneside Present n Past it vs Hunky FC, 8pm
Fiorentina Turner vs Sporting Gibbon, 8.30pm
