Richard Edmondson reports on the Soccer Six League

The Sunday Night Soccer Six League returned following the Christmas break in what turned out to be a high-scoring evening of action.

In the first game Kendal's Mad Men defeated Mere Utd 7-1, while the second game saw Donna FC climb to the top of the Division on goal difference following a 5-0 whitewash of Station Inn.

A3 Milan defeated SDCC 5-2 in the third game of the night - a result which sees Milan go joint top with Donna FC on 18 points.

Muga closed the night with a 5-0 victory over FC Polska.

The Soccer Six League is played every Sunday Night at Queen Katherine School between 6pm and 9pm, with a paintballing voucher worth up to £520 as the prize for the winners of the competition.

Soccer Six is being played all over the country.

Kendal currently has two Soccer Six Leagues, with one also being played on Wednesday nights at Kirkbie Kendal School's Cinder Ovens surface.
