The Westmorland Football League continued to catch up on its fixture list in another crucial weekend of action.

In the last remaining County Cup second round encounter, Milnthorpe Corinthians battled to a 2-1 win at Westmorland League Division One side Windermere.

In The High Sheriff Cup, Keswick eased into the next round following a 3-0 win at Ibis. Andy Rigg, Richard Bell and Antony Stafford on the scoresheet.

Kirkoswald go to within 10 points of League Leaders Keswick following a dramatic 4-3 win at Lunesdale Utd. Sean Elliott with a brace, whilst Brad Renwick and Callum Radcliffe were also on target.

Lunesdale responded through a Chris Ellwood double strike and a Jordan Kenny penalty.

Wetheriggs Utd eased past struggling Kendal County Reserves in a 5-0 win. Niall Renwick scored twice with Jordan Henderson, Joseph Lawson and Liam Wallace also finding the net.

In Westmorland League Division Two, Braithwaite saw off Greystoke in a 3-2 win, Carleton Banks put four past Wetheriggs Utds Reserves with Carleton running out comfortable 4-1 winners whilst  Langwathby Utd win 3-1 at Staveley Utd.

Endmoor KGR progressed in the High Sheriffs Cup following a 3-2 win at Dent, Adam Soulby, Matthew Wilson and Nico Noreci with the goals.

Eden Thistle pulled clear at the top of Westmorland League Division Three following a 3-0 win at Burneside Reserves. AFC Carlisle defeat Lunesdale Utd Reserves 2-0, whilst Ewan Willacy helped Kirkoswald Reserves to a 1-1 draw with Applebys Reserves.

Jay Hayton scores 4 goals as Ibis Reserves ease past Penrith Saints in a 6-2 win, whilst Penrith Academy beat Dents Reserves 2-1.
