THREE Kendal swimmers made the journey to Sunderland in search of long course Qualifying Times to enhance their chances at Regional events.
Megan Jones, Ollie and Lucy Sargeant all came away highly satisfied with their results.
Jones looked really strong and achieved personal bests in five of her seven events, despite just being outside the medal positions at both 50m and 100m breaststroke.
She added bronze in the 200m breaststroke after a close battle with Christa Wilson (Stockton) and Sophie Huggon (Carlisle).
Ollie Sargeant got his regional time for the 50m freestyle by 0.73 seconds as he finished 2nd in his heat.
Lucy Sargeant swam a really strong 50m butterfly and though outside the medals she set a good personal best which was impressive as she hasn't really swum in a 50m pool before.

She swam a beautiful 200m breaststroke and knocked nine seconds off her personal best which brought her a first in her heat and ranked 9th overall.
