Holme A and Victoria A continue to dominate Division One of the Kendal and District Bowling League after picking up important wins.
Defending holders Holme triumphed with a comfortable 10-0 whitewash over Lindale, while Victoria A battled to a 6-4 win over Netherfield A in the derby battle.
Windermere A and Bowness A also remained in touch with the top two after they both collected 7-3 wins, over Burneside A and Holme B respectively.
King's Arms Hale A were also winners as they saw off Levens A in a 9-1 triumph, while Netherfield C defeated Netherfield B 6-2 in the Thursday fixture.
Division Two is as tight as ever with little to separate the top six in the table. Allithwaite A remained at the top with a slender one point advantage after defeating Ambleside A 10-0.
However Crosthwaite A, who are second in the table, tasted defeat as they lost 7-3 to Levens B.
In the other games Victoria B defeated Burton A 6-4, while Milnthorpe A won by the same score as they saw off Abbot Hall A.
Subscription A defeated Kirkby Lonsdale 10-0, while Staveley A picked up a 7-3 win at Lower Holker A.
Ambleside B remained undefeated in Division Three as they made it seven wins from seven played after a 6-4 win at Lindale B.
Lower Holker B won by the same score as they defeated Burton B,while there were wins for Arnside A, Hawkshead and Heversham A. Endmoor A and Windermere B battled out a 5-5 draw.
In Division Four, Windermere C, Crosthwaite B, Bowness B, Subscription B, King's Arms Hale C and Burneside B all collected important wins.
Staveley B and Ingleborough B both won 8-2 in Division Five,while Endmoor B and Kirkby Lonsdale B won 7-3, defeating Milnthorpe B and Lindale C respectively.
The final game saw Allithwaite C defeat Heversham B 6-4.
In Division Six There were convincing wins for Milnthorpe C, Allithwaite D, Abbot Hall B and Victoria D. Holme D and Subscription D battled to 6-4 wins.
