Racing - Wall looks for Paradise reward

EVERYBODY'S waiting for Royal Ascot, with some very average fare this weekend on offer. For us the highlight has got to be the Belmont Stakes in the US tonight when hot favourite Curlin attempts to prove he can stay.

We like the look of WOLGAN VALLEY in the 3.40 maiden at Haydock, where Jamie Spencer rides the Seed Bin Suroor-trained son of Mr Greeley.

A bit of class and if the 7/4 is on offer, then that seems a fair bet.

Suited by the terms of a listed race, Chris Wall's PARADISE ISLE should trot up in the 3.10 Timeform Silver Salver if reproducing his best form and Ripples Maid is one for the forecast.

SEEKING STAR in the 5.15 at Windsor looks a solid type of wager on a day when not many inspire.
