Netherfield Seconds suffered a shock three wicket defeat at Preston.
The Seconds, who batted first, were bowled out for 76 off 32 overs. Craig Walmsley was the top scorer with 32. However, Amer Abbas Khan claimed a return of 5-28 with Netherfield left on a below par total.
In reply Preston knocked the runs off in 45 overs after they closed on 77-7. Babasish Nanda top scored with 22. Stuart Nixon returned figures of 4-27 as Netherfield finished their league season in third place.
Kendal picked up a much-needed win after they defeated Barrow Seconds by 45 runs in a rain reduced game. Kendal, who batted first, posted 91-2 off a rain reduced 22 overs. Donovan Du Plessis top scored with 47 while Finlay Richardson scored 40.
In reply, Barrow were bowled out for 46 in 20.4 overs. Marcus Hill returned figures of 5-22.
