THE Kendal and District Bowling League returns on Tuesday, April 4 with the fixtures for the 2017 season now released.
Division One Champions Holme A start their campaign on home soil as they entertain newly-promoted Burton A. Holme who retained their title for the second consecutive season will be keen to keep hold of their crown for a third year in a row.

In the other games last season's runners up Victoria A host Lindale A, Netherfield A entertain Staveley A, Windermere A face Bowness A, King Arms Hale A host Levens A, while Burneside A start at home as they go up against Holme B.
In Division Two Allithwaite A play Victoria B, Ambleside A entertain Netherfield B, Burton B play Kirkby Lonsdale A, while newly-promoted Netherfield C travel to play Crosthwaite A. There are also home games for Levens B and Lindale B who play Lower Holker A and Subscription A respectively.
The fixtures for Division Three, four, five and six were also released as their season gets under way on Thursday 6 April, with the stand-out tie being in division three as Victoria C play Abbot Hall A in the local derby game.
