THE goals continued to find the net in a high scoring weekend of football in The Kent Valley Junior Football League.

In the Under 16 league Kirkby Lonsdale made it six wins from six after a hard fought 4-2 home win over Heathwaite. Ethan Foster scored a brace before Corey Teasdale and Luke Blackburn completed the scoring.

Heathwaite battled and replied through George Feeney and Owen Fitzsimmons.

Swarthmoor remained on top of the Under 15 League after they picked up a 14-0 win at Appleby,Ethan Cole and Luke Armstrong scored 5 goals each, while Jamie Butterworth, Jason Grave,William Guy and Jack Spencer rounded off a good display.

In the other games goals by Patrick Savage, Brennan Molyneux and Ryan Smith helped Ibis to hard-fought 3-1 win over an improving Wattsfield United. United's Thomas Willacy scored the only goal in the first half.

Ambleside picked up a comfortable 6-0 home win over bottom placed Ibis United, while four goals by Tim Winnard and a hat trick by Peter Clough helped Heathwaite to a comfortable 12-0 win at Milnthorpe United.

Swarthmoor defeated Grange United 11-0 as they remained on top of the Under 14 League, Arran Pender and Jack Milburn with hat tricks, Lucasz Gabrys scored six goals after Milnthorpe and District defeated Kendal United Colts 9-1.

In the final Under 14 game Ryan Heddle scored a hat trick after Kendal United Rockets defeated Wattsfield 6-0.

Four goals by Jackson Shephard guided Kendal United Under 13’s to a comfortable 4-0 win at Appleby.

Kirkby Stephen defeated Grange United 5-2,while four goals by James Thornley and a hat trick by Alex Jackson guided Ambleside to a 13-1 win at Milnthorpe Town.

In the Under 12 League Matthew Casson scored a hat trick after Wattsfield United defeated Wattsfield 9-0, Heathwaite picked up a dramatic 4-3 win at Grange United, while Milnthorpe United battled to a hard-fought 2-0 home win over Heathwaite Under 12.
