THIS year's North Lancashire and District League season will culminate in the final of the Eric Wilson Senior Challenge Cup.

Newly-crowned Premier Division Champions Cartmel and District, who will be looking to seal a league and cup double and their 3rd Senior Cup in the last 6 years, take on Arnside FC.

It has been an awry season for Arnside who, after a difficult season where they finished 2nd bottom of the division, have embarked on a remarkable run in the cup beating Grange, Mayfield United and Sam Price Memorial Cup Winners and the previous holders Highgrove to make their first appearance in the final since the competition was established back in 1927.

The final will be held at 6.45pm on Wednesday, May 17, at the Lancaster and Morecambe College.

Entry to the final is free.
