The Kendal and District Bowling League continued and while both Holme A and Victoria A remained undefeated in Division One, there were plenty of interesting results on an action packed week of action.

The leading duo continue to run riot as both picked up emphatic wins. Holme who are looking to retain their league title defeated Levens A 7-3, while Victoria A beat Netherfield A 9-1.

Kings Arms Hales A saw off Burneside A 7-3, Lindale A defeated Burton A 8-2, Bowness A won by the same score at Staveley A, while Holme B edged past Windermere A 6-4.

Division Two proved highly competitive after three out of six games went down to the wire. Victoria B edged out Subscription A 6-4, Lower Holker A and Levens B also won by the same score after they saw off Crosthwaite A and Burton B respectively.

In the other games Kirkby Lonsdale A beat Allithwaite A 8-2, Lindale B won 7-3 at Ambleside A while Netherfield B defeated Netherfield C 8-2.

Division Three saw 8-2 wins for Windermere B, Ingleborough A and Sedbergh, Abbot Hall A edged past Milnthorpe A 6-4, Arnside A defeated Holme C 7-3, while Victoria C ran out 7-3 winners over Levens C.

In Division Four, Burneside B battled past Endmoor A 6-4, Allithwaite B defeated Milnthorpe B 9-1,Langdale routed Allithwaite C 10-0, Netherfield D eased past Kings Arms Hales B 7-3, Windermere C defeated Subscription C 8-2,before Bowness B closed with a comfortable 7-3 win against Lower Holker B.

Abbot Hall B,Endmoor B,Heversham B,Victoria D and Kirkby Lonsdale D all picked up wins in Division Five.

In Division Six Holme D defeated Subscription C 8-2, Burneside D and Staveley C also won by the same score with victories over Bowness C and Windermere D. Subscription D eased past Endmoor C 7-3.

Milnthorpe C won by the same score against Heversham C while Allithwaite D and Burneside C battled out a hard fought 5-5 draw.
