Kendal bodybuilder Helen Thwaites has been among the award winners at The Natural Bodybuilding Championships held in Sheffield on Sunday September 17.
The recently-turned-40 year old received first place Miss Trained Figure and was also awarded Best Female Performance for her stage routine.

The category Helen competes in is the Miss Trained Figure which is judged on a shapely toned feminine figure. She regularly attends Westmorland Cross Fit Gym in Kendal with a routine mix of cardio and weights to achieve her figure.
This is the third win for Helen at this event and she was very proud to receive both awards following a year off from competition due to operations last year.
She would like to thank the support of the local business such as Frothimoon, 16 The Salon and Westmorland Cross Fit in the lead up to her preparation.
Helen has now qualified for the British Finals in Wakefield within the next few weeks.
