Kendal made a positive start in their reply through Lachlan Stewart and Saeed Bariwala's first wicket stand of 61, however, Daly’s return of 4-25 saw Kendal fall short as they closed on 157-8.

Furness batted first and made a strong start to their innings.

Michael Gadsden and Nathan Waterston posted a first wicket stand of 57 to give the visitors a strong footing in the match.

Furness looked comfortable as Waterston and Gadsden batted well, but Kendal remained patient and claimed two quick wickets when Bariwala dismissed Gadsden and Garry Thompson.

Gadsden was the first to be dismissed after being stumped by Richard Dakin for 11 off 58, while Thompson was caught by Ryan Shepherd.

Waterston and Scott Pearcey pushed the visitors onto 91 before Singh bowled Pearcey for 11. Daly and Gribbin combined to end the innings with an undefeated stand of 82.

Kendal made a positive start in their reply as Stewart and Bariwala posted a first wicket stand of 61.

But Furness broke the partnership when Bariwala picked out Waterston off the bowling of George Smith.

Once Bariwala fell for 33 off 44 balls, Daly picked up three wickets in quick succession when Stewart, Edward Price and Ben Phillips were all dismissed, while Kendal collapsed onto 72-4.

Shepherd and James Park battled back with a fifth wicket stand of 37 as Kendal moved onto 111, before Daly broke the partnership after seeing off both Shepherd and Park.

Daly finished the match with an impressive return of 4-25

Kendal captain Chris Miller and Harry Lee attempted to rebuild the innings as they began to offer some resistance.

However, Miller was stumped by Gadsden off the bowling of Muhammed Rameez while Lee was dismissed by Josh Shaw.

Furness saw the closing stages out while Kendal fell short on 157-8 off 40.
