After a wet start to the Kendal and District Tennis League season, teams have been playing catch-up.
The current league tables suggest there will be some close finishes in several of the divisions.
In the Men’s Division One, last year’s champions Heversham A have 30 pts and hold a narrow one point lead over Wanderers with Kirkby Stephen another point further behind. Heversham are due to play both teams in the next two weeks in what could be crucial matches.
In the Ladies Division, last year’s champions Heversham are once again leading the way with 26 points. Kendal are close behind on 25 pts, but have played a game more. Lancaster have moved up to third on 20 points and have a game in hand.
