NETHERFIELD squeezed out Kendal in the dash for a place in the Thwaites 20-20 Competiton last four.
Both sides played their final group games on Tuesday evening.
Netherfield hosted Lancaster, who made 128-4 with skipper Tim Barry leading the way on 49.
In reply, the Parkside Road team clinched victory on 131-7 with two balls to spare.
Substitute professional, N. Deonarine, from Millom, led the charge with 53 before Ben Haddrick's vital unbeaten 28 saw them home with the assistance of second-teamer Jamie Postlethwaite.
Meanwhile, Kendal were denied by Carnforth in a match reduced to 18 overs apiece and even then finished in near darkness.
Spinner Ben Simm was something of a surprise top-scorer with 51 out of a Kendal total of 123-8.
Carnforth scraped in with a ball to spare on 124-5 in reply, Darren Moore making the same as Simm on 51.
Netherfield edged out Kendal for the second spot to Lancaster as northern group qualifiers, with St Annes and Darwen going through for the south.
Dates for the semi-finals, with the group winners ot meet in the final have to be fixed.
