SOUTH African centre Renier Bester, (right), who was impressive at Middlesbrough last weekend, makes his first appearance before the home crowd when Kendal take on Darlington tomorrow.
(Saturday). He comes in at outside centre, instead of Nick Michelini.
Darlington, who have struggled so far this season, can expect a torrid time against the rampant top of the league Mint Bridge side which this week features a daunting back-row trio of Andrew Hudson, Nick McKain and Rob Quarry.
Full-back Dan Murray, who showed he had pace when he came in on the wing as a substitute a fortnight ago is given a start, with Chris Park, who has occupied the left wing berth in recent matches on the bench.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
Forwards: B. Coxon, D. Green, R. Harryman; L. Hayton, G. Gore; A. Hudson, R. Quarry, N. McKain.
Backs: J. Gough, D. Stephens; D. Murray, I. Voortman (capt), R. Bester, J. Ladell; H. Moore.
Bench: A. Quarry, W.
Wharton, C. Park.
