Sheffield Tigers 3, Kendal 10.
KENDAL reached the halfway point of the North Division One season undefeated after a narrow victory over mid-table Sheffield Tigers.
Playing in a gale on Dore Moor, Kendal produced a try in either half when No. 8 Mark Wilson sent in Luke Ladell on the left wing, and then James Gough sniped his way over. A Tom Outram penalty gave Tgiers' their only score
With 22 points from 11 matches the Black and Ambers hold a two-point advantage over Huddersfield in their bid to gain promotion to Division Three of the National League.
Next week Kendal face their toughest of the season so far when they travel to play leading National Division Two side Otley in the third round of the EDF National Trophy.
