JONJO O'Neill's stable is is need of a high-profile winner after something of a barren spell and I reckon he pulls out one of his "big guns" in the shape of newcomer MINKOWSKI in Newbury's Thurloe Geos Introductory Hurdle (2.05pm).

It's a big ask for the Galileo gelding to win first time out, but his fourth to Purple Moon in the Ebor Handicap at York in the summer suggests he is a top-notch recruit to this game and should probably be followed.

KALAHARI KING is held in high regard by Ferdy Murphy so it was disappointing to see the West Witton hope beaten on his seasonal bow last month.

The opinion afterwards was that he may have not seen out the trip and a drop back to two miles should see him in a better light at Musselburgh (2.20).
