Hull 17, Kendal 25.
Kendal's promotion push for National League status was given another boost as they extended their unbeaten record to 13 league games.
The long trip to improving Hull was a potential banana skin coming straight after the Christmas and New Year break, but Kendal's dedication and extra training sessions over the holiday period paid off as they completed the double over the Humbersiders. 17-5 down at half-time, Kendal's forwards turned on the power to dominate the second half. First half scorer Billy Coxon added a second try, fly-half Dan Stephens twice joined the pack to score from pushovers and flanker Nick McKain crossed the line from a tap penalty.
The Black and Ambers now have a two week break before facing main North Division One rivals Huddersfield at Mint Bridge on December 19.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield, four points adrift, have themselves to face a difficult match with Hull next Saturday as they play their game in hand over the league leaders.
