MAJIMAR won in the style of big improver last time out and is fancied to overcome a stone's rise at the weights in Newbury's Connaught Gold Cup Handicap Chase.
Nick Williams' eight-year-old is a capable jumper, unlike several of hi rivals here and he has frightened aways some better-class rivals. It is interesting that UNGARO makes a quick return in the Doncaster's3.30 after tipping up last time out. He was just run out of it the time before that after creeping up through the field, and although he has been reassessed, he might have too much toe for the Grand National horses, Cloudy Lane and Mr Pointment, in this race.
BALLYCASSIDY'S form figures do not inspire but he is capable of running a big race in the mood and can upset the applecart in the veterans' chase at Newbury (2.40).
