Cleckheaton 9, Kendal 23.
Victory at Cleckheaton guarantees Kendal at least a play-off place in North Division One.
Kendal's top quality defence again ruled the day as they shut out the opposition apart from three penalties to record their 18th unbeaten league match of the season.
With four games left to play Kendal are four points clear of second placed Huddersfield and also have a massive points-difference advantage. Third-placed Westoe are now nine points adrift and cannot overtake the Mint Bridge side.
Next Saturday the Black and Ambers have a home derby match with bottom of the table Penrith and another win would put them within touching distance of the league title and automatic promotion to National League Three.
