PROGRESSIVE ISHETOO can zip in over the five furlongs of York's National Express Scottish Sprint Cup on Saturday.
The race has been switched from Musselburgh later in the year, but the £50,000 puse has attracted a big field of seasoned handicappers.
Alan Dickman's sprinter Ishetoo made a very pleasing return at Thirks despite stumbling badly at the start.
One of the least exposed of the field, his strong showing on the clock on that occasion suggests he will be able to make his mark in some top handicaps.
Henry Cecil's Tranquil Tiger will be all the rage for the 3.25 staying listed race after a 10-lengths success over Regal Flush.
Interestingly, Regal Flush reopposes but I like the look of RED GALA, who was unsuited by Chester's tight turns and would probably have finished ahead of Supersonic Dave with a clear run.
Michael Stoute's horses usually do well on the Knavesmire.
KING OF DIXIE could make up into a pattern-race performer this year and is fancied to stay ahead of the handicapper in the 4.15 race at Doncaster.
